3 iPhoto Tips to Help You Quickly Find Your Images (Part 1)
Here is how to save hundreds of hours throughout your life in iPhoto.
Your future self will thank you!
I focus on those in the apple ecosystem, but I know these tips can be helpful to Android users too.
1.QUICKLY FIND A SPECIFIC PHOTO: If you are looking for a specific picture, narrow your search.
Click on the search icon in the lower right-hand corner of the photos app.
Search by location, year, color, dog, cat, shoes, plant, and even a particular person (if you have identified them in your app).
2. KEEP TRACK OF RECEIPTS & PHOTOS: Take a picture of a receipt or anything you will need to find and reference later. You may already do this step, but you likely don't process it in a way you can quickly find later. Here is how to solve that problem:
In the photos app, click on the picture.
Next, click on the "i" below the photo and add a caption, for example, "Receipt for tires on Toyota 2020."
Now, if you need to reference this for a warranty, you will be able to find it quickly by searching "Toyota" or "tires."
3. DON'T UNDERESTIMATE "BEFORE" PHOTOS: Finally, take a BEFORE picture no matter the project's size; this will be a reference to fix it or put the item back together. This simple tip will make a difference in almost every project.
If you have a cool tip that most people don't know about, please share. Let us know if you want to see a video on this.
Image of a light fixture that is about 20 foot off of the ground. If you do not have a reference or before photo you may forget which way the transformer goes or how to put something back. Pro Tip.
